TAYLOR, MARGARET ELSA June 6, 1924 - July 25, 2013 Margaret Taylor (Knuff) of Kamloops passed away suddenly, but peacefully on July 25, 2013 at the age of 89. She is survived by her loving husband Donald. Margaret was born in Penticton BC, the daughter of Russel and Winnifred Knuff. Marg and Don were married in 1949 and spent most of their lives in Penticton, Naramata, later moving to Kamloops to be closer to family. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Dan (Jeanette) of Burnaby and Scott (Shelley) of Kamloops, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Mom was predeceased by brothers Edgar, Elton and Don Knuff and sister Winnifred (Freddie) Kjelson. The end of an era. The last of Penticton's five "Tough Knuff" kids is now gone. She enjoyed a long and rewarding nursing career at the Penticton Regional Hospital. Her strength of character, unwavering strong will and sharp wit were well known and obvious to the last minutes of her life. With thoughtfulness and compassion she inspired family to be independent and go forward with strength and integrity to become the best that they could be. We miss you! A remembrance tea will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 2 PM at the Schoenings Funeral Services Tea Room in Kamloops.
