KOLENDA, Helena Jessica October 18, 1928 - June 22, 2014 "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal." It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful and remarkable mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Helena Jessica Kolenda. She began the second part of her journey to reunite with the love of her life John as she was surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Roberta, Angela (Paul), Helen (Ted), Johnny and Michael: her grandchildren: Tanya, Kimberley, Cory, Desiree, Colin, Mallory, Lyra, Ariana, and Sophia: her eight great-grandchildren and her two four-legged friends. Helena is also survived by many relatives in Europe. Thank you to all the wonderful caring staff at Pine Acres Home during her stay there and especially for the compassion they showed her and us.
