BARISOFF, IDA Nov. 20, 1926 - July 1, 2014 On Tuesday July 1, 2014, Mrs. Ida Barisoff of Oliver passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1997. Ida will be fondly remembered by her loving family including children Vi (Michael) Creasey, Bill (Edna) Barisoff, Cindy (Andy) Zeeman and Barry (Sandi) Barisoff, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Ida was born on November 20, 1926 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan to William and Mary Jameff. She moved to Oliver, BC in 1944, where she and Walter were well known business owners for many years. Ida loved spending time with family, had a passion for world travel and was a long time member of the Royal Purple. Visitation will be held between 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Ken Clarke starting at 11:00 A..M.
