COOPER, Kevin Scott January 28, 1961 - July 15, 2014 It is with a heavy heart, we announce that Kevin passed away on July 15th at Kelowna General Hospital. He was born in Kelowna where he lived most of his short 53 years. Kevin was an excellent welder, he played rep team hockey in his youth. He left behind his parents, Jack and Hellevi Cooper; two brothers, Greg (Glenda), his children Alison, Tyler, Crystal deBoer (Joel), their children Aric, AJ and Timaree Wallace (Curtis), their children Carter and baby Ciera. We wish to thank Kevin's many friends who stood by and helped him throughout his prolonged illness. Kevin's life during the last 9 years was challenging and at times very difficult. He fought a good fight, but knew when it was time to give in. As his parents, we thought he was the bravest of the brave. In lieu of flowers, please remember The Cystic Fibrosis Fund or Canadian Lung Association. Cremation arrangements are being made along with a small Celebration of Life with family and Kevin's friends.
