CURTIS, William Ken October 30, 1939 - July 28, 2014 Ken passed away peacefully at Central Okanagan Hospice in Kelowna on July 28, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife Gerry of 46 years and sons Jeffrey (wife Jackie), Gerald (wife Sandra) and daughter Jolene (husband Todd). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Ken was born in Kelowna and has lived with Gerry in the house they built in North Glenmore since 1968. He worked many years in the fruit packing industry until he retired but he will be most remembered for his endless hard work in his vegetable garden. We will miss his joking nature, his love for his family and his passion for being outside in his vegetable garden. Prayers will be held on Friday, August 1st at 7:00 pm at St Pius X Church at 1077 Fuller Ave., Kelowna and Mass of Christian Burial at St Pius X Church on Saturday, August 2nd at 11:00 am, with interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
