HENDRIKS, Dianne June (nee Eyres) August 17, 1951 - July 8, 2014 It is with great sadness we announce Dianne's recent battle with Cancer has ended peacefully. Dianne will be missed by her husband John, daughter Sunny (Gary), son Mike (Suzanne), step-son Shane (Sandy), step-daughter Amy (Alex), brother Geoff (Kathy) and sister Pat (Barrie). She also leaves behind 6 adoring grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and great friends. Predeceased by her first husband Walt Morris (1991) her father, Lou (1996) and mother, June (2013), whom Dianne cared for in the last months of her life with love and dignity. Born and raised in Burnaby, BC, Dianne was an avid golfer enjoying the winter months with John at their home in Arizona and an excellent gardener who loved to stock the pantry with canned veggies and fruits from her abundant garden in Kelowna. A crafter, seamstress, handi-woman, musician, a resourceful 'do-er' and lover of life and nature. She was a generous, compassionate and loving woman who left us all too soon. A celebration of Dianne's life is planned at 3:30 pm on September 5th, at Trinity United Church, 2211 Prairie Avenue, Port Coquitlam.
