Robert Lewis (Bob) Miller passed away on July 28, 2014 at the age of 83. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his loving beautiful wife Gertie of 58 years, his loving children Carol (Bob), Penny (Ron) and granddaughter Demaris, as well as members of his extended family. Bob is predeceased by his parents and two brothers, leaving behind four sisters and one brother. His strengths of character are many. Bob was a good neighbor, story teller of Summerland's history, chatting it up with neighbors, friends and family. He always loved good company and sharing food. He engaged in a life long devotion to walking in the light of Christ. He always said, " I was born in Summerland and will die in Summerland." A Celebration of Life will be held at Penticton Church of the Nazarene, 523 Jermyn Avenue Penticton, BC on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Memorial tributes in Bob's name may be donated to Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
