CASORSO, Mina "Judy" Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Mina "Judy" Casorso born December 13th, 1922 passed away on Aug. 2nd 2014 at Cottonwoods Extended Care in the Ethel Glen Unit. Sweet beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother has finally found peace. Heaven gained an incredible angel. While we are overcome with sadness we are thankful and truly grateful for having her in our lives for so long. We are thankful for her taking care of us all and even any friends who soon came part of her family and welcomed with open arms and teaching and helping so much and knowing that it's always okay to let loose and play absolutely ridiculous games with her grandchildren. We thank her for the love of hockey, her family, card games, bingo, banana cream pie, a long walk and knowing that a happy cry is best. She was so selfless and so giving we can only hope that we can be half as great as her one day. We could not have asked for a better woman to call mom or grandma. We will keep her in our hearts always. Survived by nine children, Carol, Ernie (Sherri), Richard (Val), Susan, Wendy, Bonnie, Donna (Gary), Eileen (Johan) Donald (Loretta). Also surviving her are thirteen grandchildren, Jason, Christine, Graham, Marla, Jennifer, Dominigue, Anna-Marie, Michael, Trina, Alex, Christopher, Kathryn and Tyler and thirteen great grandchildren, also sister, Betty Munroe. Predeceased by her husband George, one grandson, James Bakker and son in-law, Steve Carrigan. Thanks to all the staff at Ethel Glen for their excellent loving care for the past two and half years.
