FAUVEL, Owen T. Passed away at Kelowna General Hospital on August 1st, 2014 at 91 years of age. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth in August 2010 and his two sisters. Owen is survived by his dear companion of many years, Kay Mahon; his sons, Rod (Marjory) and Terry (Diane); granddaughters Heidi, Tiffany, and Renata. World War II brought Owen to Canada from England as a flight training officer No.5 EFTS in High River. Following the war, he lived and worked in Calgary before retiring to Penticton, where he followed his passions of building, inventing, writing, music and photography. He enjoyed volunteering at the Penticton Museum, playing piano at the Village at the Station, supporting the Gristmill in Keremeos and he was the "Cool Cat" of Penticton. Owen always said "Make great memories." He did not realize how many people he was making them for. A private family service was held August 6th, 2014.
