WOLFE, Bernice (Snooks) October 17, 1931 - August 10, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice (Snooks) Wolfe after a short illness. She leaves to mourn, her loving and dedicated husband of 61 years, Gordon, and the sunshine of her life, their son, Brett. Bernice is also survived by her brother, Gordon Howard of Ft. Steele. Bernice was predeceased by her parents, brother and sisters. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, great and great great nephews and nieces in both the Howard and Wolfe families. Bernice was always known for her strength and endurance as she faced many illnesses throughout her life. She always prided herself in impeccable housekeeping skills and was fondly known in the family as Mrs. "White Glove". She also took great pride in her garden and flowers. Bernice was born October 17, 1931 in Cranbrook, BC. After finishing school in Cranbrook she worked in a food store as a cashier. She loved children and always had her nephews and nieces under her care. She dedicated her life to her son Brett and his life challenges, always making sure his life was enriched and full of hope, love, laughter and happiness. By her request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kelowna SPCA or to a charity of choice. Springfield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
