McKENZIE, Mary Louise (Lou) 1913 - 2014 Lou passed away on August 3, 2014 in Penticton, BC at the age of 100. She was born on December 10, 1913 in North Battleford, SK and lived in Saskatoon until 2004. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Bill McKenzie, in 1998. Lou will be lovingly missed by her children Terry McKenzie (Jim) of Penticton and Glenn McKenzie (Joan) of Stanley Mission, SK; grandchildren Jacquie, Kirsty, Mark and Hazel; great grandchildren, Lasha, Lucy, Aidan and Sophia and her sister Marge Morrison of Regina. After her family, sports were Lou's passion. She starred in women's softball during its heyday in the 1930s at the old Cairns Field in Saskatoon and won provincial championships with the Saskatoon Technical Institute basketball team.
