FAYE, Walter "Wally": Born April 18th, 1930, passed away September 21st, 2014 in Kelowna, BC. Wally died peacefully at Brandt's Creek Mews, where the kind and caring staff of Apple Grove anticipated his every need. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife and best friend Susan, daughter Mary Humphrey, sister Mary Mooney, brother Eugene (Barbara), a large extended family and many friends throughout Canada, the USA and Mexico. Predeceased by brothers Steve and Lorne and sister Elsie. Highly independent from an early age, Wally became a jack of all trades and master of a few. He loved travel, the RV lifestyle, fishing for dorado in Jalisco, Mexico off Boca Beach and for walleye in Lesser Slave Lake, Alberta. His love of all animals was legendary including the scruffiest Mexican stray dogs, and feral cats. There will be no funeral service by request. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. No flowers please. If you wish to make a donation in Wally's memory he would choose the Kelowna S.P.C.A.
