COOKE, Earl Robert June 16, 1942 - September 24, 2014 Earl died suddenly at Cottonwoods Rehab Center. Born in Northfield Station, Ont., he moved with his family to Kelowna in 1974. He worked for West Kootenay Power for 17 years, Kelowna Transit for 18 years, and ran his own design and drafting consultation business for several years. He volunteered with the Army & Air Cadets and Kelowna Search & Rescue. He was a member of 888 Comox Wing. He loved building houses, furniture and model airplanes. He leaves his wife, Lynda; daughter, Susan (Kelowna); and son, Earl Steven (Toronto); grandchildren: Brittany, James, Christien, Jason and Earl; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no service after cremation. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at his home on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 1-4 pm. Special thanks to all the staff at KGH and CW Rehab. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
