BORAU, Ingrid Lilly: Passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 79. Survived by her loving family: Erwin of Churchill, MB, Darlene (Murdy) MacKay of Penticton, Carol (Randy) Dolighan of Nanoose Bay, BC, Norm (Nina) of Victoria, BC, Shelley (Herb) Kempf of Kelowna, BC; 8 grandchildren; Ryan (Wendy), Brandon, Cody, Haley, Kirsten, Ethan, Kailyn, Andrew; 2 great grandchildren Nyla and Archer; sisters Edith, Gerlinda, Trudy, Hilda, Gisela and numerous nieces and nephews. Ingrid was very creative, she loved knitting and especially sewing costumes for figure skating. Her baking and cooking were legendary and her Black Forest cakes were the best. Story time with Oma are special memories for her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
