HALAS, Alan: Feb. 28, 1955 - Nov. 12, 2014 Alan Halas passed away peacefully on Nov 12, 2014 after living courageously with ALS for 8 years. He is survived by his loving children Jenn, Michelle and Thomas, his mother and his 3 siblings. Al's positive attitude and joys of the simple things in life including the abundance of nature that surrounded him kept him fighting for so long. His children were his life and he will be missed more than he could have ever thought. There will not be a service at this time and his life will be celebrated with family in the coming months.
