WOLTERS, Lawrence J. July 17, 1923 - August 16, 2013 Lawrence Joseph Wolters of Kelowna, BC, passed away peacefully on Aug. 16th, 2013 at the age of 90. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth, sons John (Aimee) and Mark (Na), granddaughters Mei, Anna and Maria, sisters Lucille, Loretta (James), Marie (Leo) and Yvonne (Andre). Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Valerie, sisters Angeline (Charles), Irene (John) and Agnes (Karl) and brothers Henry and Anthony (Merlene). Lawrence was a kind and loving family man. From his humble roots on the family farm in Marcelin, Saskatchewan to his long awaited years with his own family in Vernon, BC, he lived a life of modesty, selflessness and faith. The family is grateful to the staff at David Lloyd Jones Home for their loving care. Mass to be held on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna.
