ELHOLM, Inge: of Penticton, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Inge is lovingly remembered by her two sons: Norman (Darlene) of Penticton and Carlo (Debbie) of North Vancouver and three grandchildren: Kristen (Kip), Riley and Mitchell. Inge was predeceased by her husband Artur and her two siblings: Stephan and Anneliese. Inge was born in Gladbeck, Germany in 1926 and immigrated to Edmonton before coming to Penticton in 1962 with Art and the boys. Inge and Art operated the Penticton TraveLodge and the Bear's Den Restaurant for four decades before retiring in 2004. In her later years, Inge was healthy and though she developed dementia, she remained kind and content. The family is grateful to the staff at the Hamlets who provided compassionate care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2800 South Main Street, Penticton, BC with Pastor Michael Shutz officiating.
