Sylvia Dussault Wightman. Died February 28th, with her family by her side,
after a short battle with cancer. Survived by her son, Dwayne (Nicola) and
their children Rachelle and Mariah, her son Greg (Caroline), and her son
Keith and his daughter Kyarah. Also survived by her sisters Christine
Capsey (Robert) and Carol Dussault, and her brother Nelson (Linda).
Sylvia was born in Montreal in 1944 and moved with her husband and children
to B.C. in 1968. Sylvia was an esteemed French immersion teacher for almost
30 years at the Beairsto Elementary School in Vernon before retiring to her
home in Oyama.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced later in the
Spring.
