It is with sadness that we announce that Ovide passed away peacefully on March 16, 2015 at the age of 80. Ovide is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth; daughter, Wanda (Robert) Marshall; son, Darcy (Dorothy) Lepine; grandchildren, Katelin, Angela, Luke and Hannah. Ovide was the oldest son, born to Elizabeth and Marcel Lepine. Survived by siblings, Angeline, Isabel (Karl) Parker, Sylvia, Aline, Jerry, Dorothy, Joyce, Marcella, Morris, Gordon, Dana and predeceased by sister Anita. Ovide enjoyed many activities, such as curling, fishing, hunting and excelled as a pitcher in fastball. He was a member of the Penticton Golf Club for many years, winning the club championship in 1984, 1987 and 1991. His names graces golf trophies throughout the interior of B.C., Alberta and Sask. His greatest passion in the last few years was watching his grandchildren in sports and other activities. The family wishes to thank Dr. Snyman, Rexall Pharmacy staff, Oncology staff and the Penticton Regional Hospital for their compassionate care over the years.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on April 4th between 1:30 - 3:30 at the Penticton Curling Club.
