JOHNSON, Dr. George Allison: Oct. 11 1934 - March 28 2015. Born and resided 6 yrs in Vancouver then moved to Squamish. Obtained his Bachelor of Science at UBC then on to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Obtained his degree 1962 while employed with the Canadian Military, posted 3 yrs. at Whitehorse and 2 yrs. in Calgary. Leaving the service as a Captain he made Kelowna his permanent home in 1967. In 1970 he and his wife Terri started the building of a cabin at Headwaters Lk#2 where the family spent many cherished weekends. In 1981 his desire to be on the ocean, seen him build an unsinkable 22 ft. boat. In 2008 they moved to Headwaters in their last remaining 6 yrs. in the great Okanagan, remodelling the cabin. June of 2014 they moved to Sherwood Park, AB to be near family and spending what would remain his last sunny days. George will be dearly missed. Leaving behind his wife Terri of 57 yrs. Daughter Debra (Jerry) Brittany and Tyson. Sons Glenn and Gary (Jim). A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on June 28, 2015 at the residence of Debra an Jerry Morrie in Sherwood Park, AB.
