HALL, Harald Kay: July 31, 1932 - April 17, 2015. Harald will be deeply missed by his children Barb Romanaki of Victoria, BC, Shelley Hall of Vancouver, BC, and Robert Hall (Judi) of Victoria, BC; grandchildren Nicoletta, Nicholas, Griffin, Devon, and Regan; and great grandchildren Nicholas and Noah. His friends and neighbors will profoundly mourn his passing. Born in London, England, Harald came to Canada in his youth and spent some time in the Canadian Military during the Korean War. Harald's career and passion was in municipal government beginning in Red Deer, AB and finally in his favored city of Kelowna, BC as Director of Finance and Director of Corporate Services. Harald loved Kelowna from the first time he vacationed there in 1965 and after he retired in 1995, he spent much of his time volunteering with the Friends of Mission Creek. Unknown to many was his passion of dabbling in art. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, in Kelowna, BC.
