RIOU, ALBERT EMILE Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2013 at the age of 68 years. Albert will be sadly missed by his wife, Annette Riou, children: Lisa (Gianni) Riou of Coquitlam, BC, Nicole (Jeremy) Petersen of Penticton, BC, Joseph (Olivia) Cyr of Penticton, BC, Dennis (Amanda) Cyr of Penticton, BC, eight grandchildren; Anthony, Kiara, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Lanaya, Faith, Wyatt, siblings; Maurice (Val) Riou of Regina, Sask, Simone Heins of Saskatoon, Sask, Denis (Heather) Riou of Ottawa, Ont and many nieces and nephews. Sadly predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Solange Riou and brother, Joseph Riou of Wainwright, AB. Al's incredible love of life and generous thoughtful spirit touched everyone who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on September 7, 2013 at 11:30 am at Cheers the Church, 639 Main Street, Penticton, BC with Joseph Cyr and Dennis Cyr officiating. A tea will follow with an interment afterwards. Memorial tributes may be made to the Penticton Regional Hospital, 550 Carmi Avenue, Penticton, BC V2A 3G6.
