It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow we announce the passing of Enid Pearl Charlotte Willard. Pearl passed away quickly at Kelowna General Hospital on May 14th, 2015 with family by her side. Pearl (nicknamed Tom) was born in Emo, Ontario and lived in the Rainy River District during her childhood. She was the daughter of Albert and Martha Stevens.
Pearl was a homemaker during her early adult life, kept busy by her 18 children. She had a great love of all types of music. Many an hour was spent singing along with her LP's while baking something sweet in the kitchen for the family. She loved gardening and loved reading, especially romance novels.
She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 7 sisters. Brothers: Arthur Maisey, Albert Robert Stevens, Louis Stevens, Allan Stevens and Harvey Stevens. Sisters: Florence Stevens, Audrey Lola Stevens, Ethel Smith, Violet Fraser, Nora Jean Dunsmore, Elizabeth Stevens and Alice Kellar. Left to mourn are sisters Lois Whiteside, Eva Demchuk and sister-in-law Ardell Stevens.
She was predeceased by three husbands: Theodore Daw, Wilhelm Richert and Norm Willard.
She was predeceased by 4 of her sons: Steven Daw, Kimberley Daw, Vincent Daw and Michael Daw. She is survived by 14 children: Patricia O'halloron (Jim), Gerald Daw (Denise), Judy Snider (Ralph), Teresa MacLean (D.A.), Derwent Daw (Shannon), Cheryl Mose (Eldon), Stanley Daw (Laura), Gregory Daw, Chandra Ponce, Charlene Hamilton (Mike), David Daw (Darlene), Lorrance Daw (Barb), Mickeal Daw (Sandy), and John Richert (Tammy).
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also missing her greatly are many other friends and family: Dana MacDonald, Ella Rae, Tina Daw, Yetta McNeil, Marilyn Betts and all of the residence at Evangel Apartments in Kelowna.
Her ashes will join family members later this year in Emo, Ontario.
She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
