BELBIN, Gary Thomas: With heavy hearts and tremendous sorrow, we announce the passing of Gary Thomas Belbin, on May 27th, at the age of 64. Gary was born in Placentia, Newfoundland, on July 11th, 1950. He became a Professional Engineer and spent most of his successful career with Imperial Oil Ltd. He was predeceased by his mother, Ellen Belbin and his mother-in-law, Joan Coughlan. Left to mourn are his loving wife of 45 years, Lynn, his children Jillian (Lincoln Loo) and Matthew (Marianne Mandrusiak) and his grandchildren Grace and Nathan Loo, his "Sweethearts." He also leaves to mourn his father Thomas Belbin, sister Cathy, and brothers Glen, of St. John's Nfld, Raymond, of Kelowna and Thomas, of New York. His father-in-law, William Coughlan, of Kelowna will forever miss his "special son-in-law." He will be sorely missed by numerous relatives and many cherished friends across the country. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. D. Sarbit, Dr. G. Dueck and the Renal Group at KGH for their excellent care. A celebration of Gary's life will be held in Kelowna at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 6th, at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road.
