Newhook, Frances Wilma: 6 August 1933 - 24 May 2015 The family of Wilma Newhook regret to announce her death in Nanaimo on 24th May 2015. She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Delmer Newhook (2011), her parents J. Archie Handlen (1987) and Minnie (Ennis) Handlen (1989) in Kelowna and her sister Marian Charron (1984). Wilma is survived by her daughters Deborah and Lynn (Al Foster) of Nanaimo and sons Robert, Edmonton and David (Tara), Drumheller, ten grandchildren and her sister Lorainne McLarty, Kelowna. Wilma was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary at 256 Lantzville Legion, and TOPS for many years, as well as other volunteer organizations. We wish to thank the VIHA Home Support Nurses who took care of Wilma during her final weeks, also Doctor Spry who started her on the right path to the care she needed. Friends and loved ones are ivited to a memorial service at 256 Lantzville Legion on Sunday June 21st at 2:oo pm.
