Hoskins, William: Aug 26, 1930 - Apr 8, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather and great- randfather on April 8, 2015 in Penticton, BC. Predeceased by parents, William and Thora; sisters, Patricia and Mary and grandson, Kenneth. Bill is survived by his sister, Lillian, and the mother of his 6 children, Nora; son Jim (Lorene); son Gordon; son Dale; daughter Janet; son Bill (Jeannie), daughter Val (Tony); 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Bill was born in Stockport, England on August 26, 1930. His career in the construction industry began in the 50's and by the time he retired he was a building inspector and project manager for the Province of BC. In his retirement years he built homes in Princeton, BC and Yuma, Arizona where he spend many warm winters. Bill enjoyed his involvement at the senior centre where he played his guitar and snooker. He also took pride in the many films he produced in the Penticton area as well as his biography "My Life" published in 2007.
