MARTIN, June: Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 87. Survived by her family: daughter Dawn; sons Terry (Grace), Myles(Shelley); four grandchildren: Jay, Michol, Brock, Cameron; five great grandchildren: Tye, Cruz, Sunni, Berkeley, Slayter; two brothers Darryl (Shary), Dan; nephews Darren and Jason as well as her extended family. Predeceased by her husband Leonard and sister Erliss. June lived her life in grace and was a light in this world. Her favourite word was "Joy" and she truly lived it and brought that to everyone she met. June always said she was too blessed to be stressed. We are all better people having had her in our lives. She truly was a gift! The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all the staff at Cottonwoods Extended Health Care for their loving care given to June during her stay there. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 20th at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, with Dr. Gordon Fletcher officiating. Interment to follow in Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.A.B.
