Jeanne Marlene Tinning
Jeanne passed away peacefully on July 16, 2015. She was born in Chilliwack BC on March 20, 1949, and was the oldest of 2 children.
She was predeceased by her parents Quentin and Merva Dickout.
She is survived by her brother Jack (Verona) Dickout, her daughter Kara Tinning, her son Travis (Suzanne) Tinning, her loving grandchildren Owen, Miranda and Drew and her nephews and niece Dustin, Darren, Janelle and their families, who she loved very much.
Jeanne completed her nursing training and St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver and moved to Penticton BC in 1974 where she raised her family and worked as an RN in many capacities within the community for 30 years. She was a dear friend to many, a good sister and cousin, a great mom and a wonderful Nana - she will be missed.
At Jeanne's request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a caring gesture can make a donation in her name to the Knowledge Network (www.knowledge.ca) or a charity of their choice.
