CARROLL, Dr. Brooke Patrick: Was born in Lancashire England in 1932 and passed on August 1, 2015 at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA, after a long illness that he bore with great stoicism. As a Medical Officer in the Royal Air Force, he was posted to Germany and then worked as a physician in Australia. He married and had two sons. When his wife passed, he had gone to Canada and worked in practices in Alberta and Saskatchewan Provinces. He received his post graduate training and credentials in radiology from Vancouver General Hospital in 1968 and was a Diagnostic Radiologist with his partners in Penticton Regional Hospital. He served for a period as Director and Chief of Radiology and president of the Medical Association as well as being appointed Coroner for the region in addition to his radiological work. In 1984 he and Margo were married. They ran a 150 acre ranch and whenever he was able, they spent time in Baja and traveled extensively. He was ethical to a fault, had a great sense of humor and was fair and honest in all his dealings. He loved Nature, fishing the sea and lakes, knew the names of the birds in every region, was curious about the etymology of plants. His knowledge of military history and military firearms was awesome. He will be buried in Oroville, Washington where, after retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and fishing. A small private celebration of his life will follow internment. He is survived by his beloved wife Margo, sons Patrick (Linda) and Michael, step-sons Mark (Lisa), Michael and Peter and step grandchildren Jack and Lexie. Condolences and tribute messages are welcomed on Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Lake Havasu City, Arizona website.
