PIECH, VERA: Vera Piech (nee Van Dillen), born on January 22, 1933 in Manitoba, passed away peacefully at Westview Extended Care in Penticton on August 28, 2015. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Nicholas Piech; sisters, Ella Davidson and Marg Bailey; daughters, Vanessa Sutton and Leah Taylor; grandson, David Sutton; and great grandson, Jack Henry Sutton. "God saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace be thine." The family wishes to extend gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Penticton Regional Hospital and Westview Extended Care for the warm and loving care.
