SZUCS, Andrew Michael: October 9, 1931 - July 20, 2015. It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Andrew Michael Szucs on July 20, 2015. Andy is survived by his wife Brenda, brothers and sisters: George in BC, Lou, Marion and Helen in Saskatchewan. He is lovingly honoured by his son Michael (Tanis), daughter Debbi (Stewart) and six grateful grandchildren, Mat, Taylor, Breann, Deja-Rae, Jakob and Faith. Andy married Brenda (Koyle) in St. Thomas, Ontario on March 4, 1961. She was happily welcomed into a large Hungarian family. Andy was one of the founding owners over 30 years ago of "Andy's Auto Wreckers" establishment in London, Ontario. Andy and his family moved to BC in 1992. He had no intent to retire and started "Handy Andy's", a business doing odd jobs assisting seniors - younger than him. His business cards over time read, "Where a friend means more than a dollar". Andy took joy in sweeping and maintaining his home and did so prior to his admission to hospice. Andy loved animals, the outdoors, hard work and smiling. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, family and friends. May Andy's legacy of generosity, kindness and unselfishness be honoured in your heart and actions.
