HUVA, Dorothy Joan Dorothy Joan Huva passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at Inglewood Care Home in West Vancouver. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Reuben; sister, Jacquie; children, Ron (Denise), Marion (Greg), Bill (Irene) and Linda (David); grandchildren, Allison, Emily, Amy, Geoffrey, Gillian, Robert, Jennifer and Graeme; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Sadie and Chloe. Joan was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Geoffrey. Joan was born in Vancouver on the 22nd of January 1925 to Elsie and Dr. Frank Dickson. She graduated from St. Paul's nursing in 1946 then moved to Summerland where she met and married Reuben. Thank you to the care staff at Inglewood and especially Lynn. A private memorial will be held.
