LASHUK, Melvin Passed away peacefully on September 14, 2013 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 86 years with his family by his side. Born to Anne and Fred Lashuk in Sandy Lake, Manitoba on November 8, 1926. He was predeceased by his parents, five brothers and five sisters. Melvin will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorene (Laurie) of 58 years, son Greg (Miranda), daughter Sandy (Ted), grandchildren Jen (Mike), Regan (Chris), Tamara (Ryan), great grandchildren Kennedy and Marco along with numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Sam and Bev for all their love and support, and Dr. Larry Bobyn for his many years of compassionate care. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at St. Michael's Anglican Cathedral - 608 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna.
