TYMCHUK, Borden Robert It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Borden Robert Tymchuk on November 10, 2013, born August 8, 1922 at Vegreville, Alberta. He attended school at Vegreville, joining the RCAF in 1942, serving until 1948. Bob was employed by the CNR at Kamloops, Blue River, Prince Rupert, Saskatoon, Dauphin and Winnipeg. He retired December 31, 1977 and moved to Kelowna in 1978. Bob served as a volunteer for the Canadian Diabetes Assn., the Rutland Citizen Patrol and the Rutland Community Policing Office. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held Saturday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Sun Pointe Village, Town Hall, 700 Rutland Road N.
