SYNGE, Kathleen (Kay) (nee BOWES) Of Kelowna, passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2013 at the Lakeview Lodge nursing home in West Kelowna at age 95. Kay was predeceased by her 1st husband, Neale Synge and her 2nd husband, Thomas Martin. She is survived by her loving family, daughter and son-in-law Sharon & Ron Loken of Kelowna, son Allan Synge of Vancouver, grandchildren: Joy Elliott, Garrett (Garry) Elliott, Tanja Steer and 7 great-grandchildren: Trinette, Coburn, Amber, Nita, Keenan, Montaya and Georgia. Also 3 sisters Rose Ward, Marie Coleffi, and Francis Pollard. Private family arrangements have been made. The family would like to send special thanks to the staff at the Lakeview Lodge for all of the exceptional love and care that was extended.
