WAUDBY, TERENCE ANTHONY September 25, 1934 - November 26, 2013 Passed away peacefully with family at his side. Terry leaves to mourn his wife, Carolyn; children, Cheryl Lange (Doug), David Wakeman (Dana), Janice Roberton, twins Laura Mackenzie (Tom) and Darren Waudby (Anri); eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Larissa (Troy), Ryan, Paige, Noah, Ethan, Parker, Connor, Sarah and Ben; two great grandchildren, Jack and Jessa as well as numerous family members in England. Terry received his formal education at Donington Grammar School in the U.K. He served in the R.A.F. from 1952 until 1957. From 1957 until his immigration to Canada in 1970, Terry held various positions in the automotive industry. In Canada, Terry worked with Bleasdale Ford Tractor Sales in Penticton, initially as a salesman. He later took over the position of General Manager and President. He was voted by his peers (other Ford Tractor Dealers in BC) to represent them on Ford Dealer Council, held in Troy, Michigan. While serving in this position, Terry worked diligently to have Ford make modifications in their orchard tractors, in order to make them more compatible with changing Okanagan orchard conditions. Terry was forced to retire in 1994 due to ill health. If friends so wish, donations in Terry's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. or B.C. Lung Association. The family wishes to thank Dr. Doug Leitner, Dr. Karen Papay and Dr. Sarah Broder as well as the staff of Penticton Regional Hospital for the care received. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, 150 Orchard Ave., Penticton. Condolences may be shared by visiting www.everdenrust.com
