RYBAK, KLAUS FRIEDRICH It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our devoted husband, father, brother and gammy into the loving arms of Jesus on July 6th, 2013 at the age of 62. Klaus is lovingly remembered by his wife Marnie Verge, his sons David, Neil, Andrew (Petra), Peter (Angie), daughters Laura, Susan (Horst) and grandchildren Selah and Elise. Klaus will also be sadly missed by brother Rolf (Debbie) extended family members and friends across Canada, United States and Europe. After immigrating to Vancouver from Germany in 1957 Klaus eventually settled in the Okanagan and worked many years at Air Liquide. Klaus was a faithful Christian, avid outdoorsman, rock climber, Canucks Fan, fun loving, car enthusiast, photographer, excellent cook - a kind and gentle man. Klaus fought a 35 year battle with kidney disease and was the miraculous recipient of 3 transplants. Klaus devoted his time to helping others and recently was instrumental in establishing Lighthouse Penticton Low Barrier Shelter. A celebration of Klaus' life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 10:00 a.m. at Cheers the Church, 639 Main Street, Penticton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lighthouse Penticton Low Barrier Shelter Society would be greatly appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family through providencefuneralhomes.com
