DOERING, Elva Ruth Mar. 7, 1923 - Oct. 31, 2013 Ruth passed away at the age of 90 after living with her daughter Lorraine (Steve) and grandsons Paul and Patrick for more than 10 years. Born in Bateman, Sask., she was predeceased by her parents, oldest daughter Linda Lee Carr and five older siblings, Wallace, Esmond, Carl, Manetta and Evelyn. Ruth is survived by her remaining daughter Lorraine of Kelowna, and eight grand and great grandchildren plus numerous nephews and nieces. Mom, you had the most beautiful handwriting and loved flowers and gardening. I wish you could have made your chocolate puffy recipe one more time. I will master it one day. You loved your family and they loved you. We think of you every day with our grieving hearts. May you rest in peace with your siblings, parents and daughter. Cremation and interment to follow in the spring.
