STOECK, Edmund It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family of Edmund Stoeck, announce his passing after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Memories of Edmund will be cherished by his loving family: his son Gerhart (Garry), daughter Elisabeth, (Lohr Thomas), and grandsons Jonathan and Christopher, all of Edmonton. By his brother Daniel (Ann), nephew Herbert (Alison) from Regina, Harve (Jane) from Greenwood Village, Colorado, brother-in-law Walter Badenhop from Gilten, Germany and many nieces and nephews. Edmund was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Hilda, and by his brothers and sisters in Germany and Poland. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of St. Michael's long-term care centre for their kindness and professionalism during his time spent there, and for their support and compassion through his peaceful transition to eternal life. Funeral services to celebrate Edmund will be held this Saturday, December 21st at 1:00 pm at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (10759 - 96 Street, Edmonton), with Pastor Friedmut Wilhelm and Pastor Sigmar Reichel officiating.
