NIEBERGAL, Ida Louise It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Ida Louise Niebergal (nee Reitenbach), who left to begin her new journey beside the Lord on December 19th, 2013. Ida was born in Lemberg, Saskatchewan on June 26th, 1927. She married her beloved husband Harold Niebergal, on August 17th, 1949, and together they moved west to raise their family in the Okanagan Valley. Our dear mother and grandmother was an incredible pillar of strength and beauty in our family, who possessed unsurpassed talents in the garden and kitchen. Ida will be lovingly missed and remembered by her four children, Dennis (Cheryl), Alan (Jamie), Cindy Marsh, and Harold Jr. (Alison); her grandchildren, Rachel (Ken), Brian (Janet), Mallory, Joel (Julie), Katrina, Charlie, Cody and Shane; great-grandchildren, James, Maxwell, Sydney, Chayton; one brother, Jack Reitenbach; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, siblings Karl (Hilda), Henry (Emalyn), Mary (Ed), Dan (Ida), Fredrich 'Fritz' (Mary), and her parents, Julianna (nee Hennig) and Jacob Reitenbach. The Funeral Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Service, 1211 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC on Friday, December 27th, 2013. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the Days Inn, Kelowna, following the burial service.
