WINGFIELD, Phyllis Margot Widow of Robert Wingfield, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on December 17th, 2013 at David Lloyd Jones Home, Kelowna, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy, her daughter Vivien (Michael) and her son in law John. Born in Sheffield, England, Mom was a proud Veteran of the British Army and immigrated to Canada with Bob in the 1960's. They lived in Ontario and B.C. moving to North Vancouver, Delta, White Rock, Langley, Victoria and Kelowna. Mom loved interior decorating, gardening and children and was a friend to many. She was a loving and caring person who will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children Pamela, Stephen (Des) and Peter (Michelle), her grandchildren Shaun, Paul, Jacob, Bree, Kiernan and Brendan, great-grandchildren Emma, Samantha, Jason, Cameron and Duncan. Phyllis asked that there be no service. The family would like to thank all the staff at DLJ for their compassion and support of Mom in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to David Lloyd Jones Home-Recreation Department or the Kelowna General Hospital Pediatric Ward in Phyllis' memory would be greatly appreciated.
