KAISER, RUTH FRANCIS (BETTE) On Saturday, December 28, 2013 Bette Kaiser passed away peacefully in Penticton at the age of 90 years. She will be missed by her family, daughter Janet Lincoln and sons Terry, Bill (Margie), and Jim (Barb). Bette was known for her strong will and sharp wit. Her thirst for knowledge and meaningful conversation did not diminish with age. Bette was predeceased by her husband Vern in 2011. Together they had relocated from Kitchener, Ontario to Penticton in 2001. Bette embraced the Okanagan environment and enjoyed the closeness of family, especially her daughter-in-law Margie who fondly called her "Mama Bear". An open house Celebration of Life will be held at 1275 Kilwinning St. on Saturday January 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM.
