VAN MOERKERKEN, Shirley Elizabeth Florence Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Sutherland Hills Rest Home in Kelowna. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Karin (Tony) Heaven; son, Earl (Carrissa) Van Moerkerken; grandchildren, Matthew, Genevieve (Jeff) Everitt, Jonathan, Amber (Mathias) Gardner and Tanzin and Jason; great granddaughter, Aria and brother, Owen Humby of South Africa. Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband, Chris in 2008. The family wish to thank Dr. Oswald and the staff at Sutherland Hills Rest Home for their great care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 696 Glenmore Road, Kelowna.
