SWAN, BARBARA JEAN July 6, 1953 - Dec. 18, 2013 Passed away at Penticton Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Survived by brother Terry (Elaine) Swan of Penticton, niece Nancy (Darren) Berg of Castlegar, BC and great-niece Emily Berg of Castlegar, BC. Predeceased by her parents Alta and Edward Swan of Summerland and sister Eleanor and brother-in-law Dave Barnard. Predeceased by her faithful, loving dog Oliver Barrett Swan on July 22, 2011. A special thank you to Dr. Mike Surkan and the staff at the Penticton Regional Hospital for their compassion and care over the last several years. Thank you to the ambulatory service for their kindness and care. Interment at Canyon View Cemetery in Summerland. A Celebration Of Life will be held Fri.
