HOUDE, Clarence "Wayne" 6 August 1941 - 9 January 2014 With heavy hearts and profound sadness the family wishes to announce that Wayne passed away peacefully in Kelowna Hospice House with family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 51 years, Kay and their children: Mike (Janet) Houde, Kathy Stambulic, Debbie Marsall; grandchildren: Angie, Richard, Kayla, Adam, Amy, Raeann, Joey; and great grandchildren: Zach, Wesley, Ryder and Ana; his brother Norm (Shirley) Houde and cousin Jim. Wayne was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather (Poppa) and great grandfather. He was an avid member of 883 Wing and Royal Canadian Legion. He will be remembered for being the "quiet presence" in the family, his love of travel and photography. Heartfelt thanks to the Sindi Hawkins Agency and the Kelowna Hospice House for their compassionate care and support to Wayne and his family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna. Family and friends welcome. Flowers gratefully declined.
