GREENSHIELDS, Grace Margaret November 5, 1915 - January 24, 2014 Grace Margaret Greenshields, nee Jenner, passed away after a short illness on January 24, 2014. She is survived by her loving son Russ (Dot) Greenshields, grandsons Scott (Tracey), Craig (Becki) and Jamie (Connie) as well as six great grandchildren, Katie and Jack, Connor and Liam and Matthew and Liana. Also surviving her is her sister, Gladys Foulkes and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her husband Tom Greenshields, daughter Heather, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Grace was born in Regina where she lived until she and Tom retired to Kelowna in 1969. After Tom's death in 1981 she continued to live in Kelowna until she moved to Calgary in 1997. From 1997 until recently, she lived independently in her apartment making many lasting friendships over the years. The family would like to thank the staff and the Palliative Care Team on Unit 68 at the South Campus Hospital as well as the staff of the Southwood Hospice for their care and kindness over the last few weeks. At Grace's request, there will be no service.
