NURSE, Bernard Walton Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Penticton Regional Hospital on February 11, 2014 at the age of 84. Bernie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 58 years; Marion, son Bruce (Jill), daughter Julie (Rob), son David (Lorea) and grandsons Dylan and Shawn. He enjoyed fishing with his nephew Steve, spending time in the mountains with his dog, and took great pride in his beer and wine making skills. Special thanks to Doctor Phillips for his care and concern. Bernard has now left us to go for a long walk in his beloved mountains. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hansons' Arbor Funeral Chapel, 527 Ellis Street, Penticton, BC. Pastor Rick Gay will officiate at the Service on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
