BERG, Olive Passed away at Kelowna General Hospital Friday, February 28, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Olive was born on March 16, 1916 and died 16 days short of her 98th birthday. She is survived by one daughter Connie and son Robert from California; and son Rodney from Ottawa; five grandchildren: Darren, Wendy, Tammy, Rodney Jr. and Brittany; and four great-grandchildren: Kadie, Kara, Aiden and Grace. Olive was born, raised and schooled in Saskatchewan and married the late Einar Berg. Olive and Einar were long term residents of Kelowna and both enjoyed the Okanagan to its fullest. After Einar passed Olive continued to reside for many years at Brookside Estates and for the past 7 years has been a resident of Kelowna's Chatsworth Retirement Community. Olive was known for her high sense of fashion, support for the arts, and love of cooking and entertaining. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna.
