RYAN, CAROLINE (CARRIE) Passed away March 3rd, 2014 after a brief stay in hospice. Carrie was born in Stockholm, Sask., in 1926, the youngest of a homesteading family. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters and most recently by her husband, Fred Ryan, in 2011. Carrie chose Abbotsford as her final retirement home in 2012 and was fortunate to have her niece Gail McDougall (Ian) close by. Carrie is survived by a sister-in-law Rita Estock, brother-in-law Lyle Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by the Ryan families: Lorna (Ryan) and Van Dewest of West Vancouver and Charles and Elaine Ryan and friends in Penticton. There will be no service by request.
