FANSLAU, Ursula In the early hours of March 24, 2014, at the age of 90, Ursula peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by Helmut, her husband of 64 years and the love of her life. She is survived by her brother Horst and sadly predeceased by her parents and her dear sister, Erika. A wonderful, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew her, she is survived by her sons, Ron (Gloria) Fanslau, Harry Fanslau; her daughters, Norma Anderson and Elenor (Dave) Hansum, all of Kelowna, her grandchildren, Andy (Joya) Fanslau, Aaron (Sarah) Fanslau, Jonah (Ashley) Anderson, Jodi Anderson, Jeff (Donna) Hansum, Jordan (Julia) Hansum and sadly predeceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Fanslau. Her legacy lives on in her nine great grandchildren. Her beautiful smile, great sense of humour and optimistic outlook on life will be missed by all. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at the Hospice House and special thanks to her daughter, Elenor who provided love and support around the clock. Visitation for family and close friends will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna followed by a Graveside Service at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1PM at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC V1W 3N4.
